Meet the founder

A dog is never just a dog.

Hi, I’m Cinton. Cinetix started with one dog I couldn’t quite understand — intelligent, loyal and intense, noticing every sound outside and every change in routine. The more I read about his breed, the more his “random” behaviors made sense.

That sent me down a path of researching one breed, then another, then another. And I kept running into the same problem: most dog advice was too general. I didn’t want to know how to train “a dog.” I wanted to know what motivates this breed, what frustrates it, and why it behaves the way it does.

So I started writing it down — one breed at a time. Those notebooks became the Cinetix guides.

Why “Cinetix”? The name is a small private joke. I took the beginning of my first name and the end of my last name and wrote it on the cover of the first notebook. It didn’t sound like a pet shop — it sounded like something you study. That’s exactly how I think about dogs.

Why breed-specific

Every breed is different.

A German Shepherd does not have the same training, exercise or health needs as a French Bulldog. Generic advice treats them as the same dog, and that is where most owners get stuck.

Cinetix guides focus on the characteristics that make each breed what it is, so you can make better decisions about training, nutrition, exercise and everyday care — for your dog, not a dog in general.

  German Shepherd French Bulldog
Daily exercise High — needs a job to do Short walks, heat permitting
Mental work Essential, or behaviour suffers Helpful, in short sessions
Coat & grooming Heavy, seasonal shedding Short coat, skin folds to clean
Watch for Hips and joints Breathing and overheating

Same questions, completely different answers. That is the whole reason each guide covers one breed.

From puppy to senior

One guide for every stage of life.

Each Cinetix guide follows the dog all the way through — not just the first six months, when most books stop.

Stage 01

Puppy

The first weeks at home, and the habits that are far easier to build now than to fix later.

  • Development and what to expect
  • Housebreaking and early routines
  • Socialisation windows
  • Feeding a growing dog
Stage 02

Adult

The long middle. Keeping training solid, weight steady and the day structured around what the breed needs.

  • Reliable obedience and recall
  • Exercise and mental stimulation
  • Portions and healthy weight
  • Coat, ear and dental routines
Stage 03

Senior

Slower days, changing needs, and the adjustments that keep an older dog comfortable and involved.

  • Mobility and joint support
  • Adjusting food and exercise
  • Preventive care and check-ups
  • Signs worth raising with your vet

Development · Training · Nutrition · Exercise · Preventive care · Healthy ageing

Practical format

Made to be used, not just read.

Every guide is written to be opened at the page you need, on the day you need it — not read once and shelved.

Example — puppy's first week checklist
  • Crate and bed set up before arrival
  • Feeding times fixed and written down
  • Toilet trips after every nap and meal
  • First vet visit booked

Every chapter ends with something you can act on, not a summary of what you just read.

01

Step-by-step guidance

Clear sequences to follow, in order, without guessing what comes next.

02

Practical checklists

One-page lists for the moments that matter, ready to print or keep on your phone.

03

Breed tips

The specifics that only apply to your dog, marked out as you read.

04

Feeding guidance

Portions, timing and weight, adjusted by age and size.

05

Training routines

Short sessions built around what the breed responds to.

06

Warning signs

What to keep an eye on, and when it is worth calling your vet.
